HASTA is the Australian sports supplement drug testing specialist, a division of Racing Analytical Services Limited (RASL), Australia’s largest independent sports drug testing laboratory. HASTA tests for over 200 WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) prohibited substances, using high resolution equipment that can detect drugs at levels down to parts per billion (ppb). The HASTA laboratory delivers services that meet word’s best practice and quality standards.
HASTA employs a highly skilled workforce, expert in all aspects of drug detection and analysis. More than $15 million has been invested in the most advanced analytical equipment available to deliver state-of-the-art drug testing services. HASTA has access to more capacity than any forensic drug testing laboratory in Australia.
Batch testing means that a sample from a specific batch of product has been sent to be independently tested for WADA banned substances.
The result that testing only applies to the test batch, so a company cannot claim that all their product is HASTA tested, if they are only doing random batch testing.
The process of HASTA Certification requires an additional commitment which includes a minimum of five successful test results from three batches of each product. Once certified, every new batch of the product must then be sent away for third party testing in order to retain full HASTA Certification
